Does TinyHaus® provide a full turn-key solution?

Yes, we provide a full turn-key solution for your project from council engagement through to code of compliance certificate. If there is a part of the process you want to take care of yourself, let us know and we can discuss this task.

Is there any flexibility in the designs?

Yes, there is flexibility in terms of colour options and materials for each module. Our design team has worked to come up with standardised exterior designs that suits most needs.

What foundations are required?

Primarily we use consented pile foundations which are a time-efficient, cost-effective solution for anchoring your modular home to the ground. However, this is site dependent, and we would be happy to talk to you more.

What is included in the price on the website?

The price (incl. GST) includes a fully-built transportable home and. depending on the module you choose, may specify a kitchen with appliances, bathroom(s) and bedroom(s). All pods are built and fitted with the following materials:

●      Framing: H1.2 SG8 90Å~45 Pine Timber Framing

●      Insulation: Eco-Wool Wall R2.6 / Eco-Wool Ceiling R3.2

●      Exterior: 9mm Duragroove Fiber Cement Board

●      Interior Lining: GIB or 12mm Grooved Ply/Non-Grooved Ply

●      Windows: double glazed, as per building code

●      Flooring: Quickstep Laminate or Carpet Court Rhino Carpet

Do I need Building Consent or Resource Consent?

It’s always best to check with your local authority/council before starting your project. This ensures you are complying with your local district plan. My site has difficult access, can you deliver onsite?

Please call us to discuss. We can visit your site and give feedback on what we think as you firm up your plans. Generally, if the site can be accessed by a hiab or truck there will be no problem. If not, we can discuss other suitable options on a case-by-case basis.
